All 46 Football Education University Applicants Achieve Required Grades

Following A-Level Results Day on Thursday, all 46 Football Education students who applied for further education received the required grades to meet their conditional offers.

Students were accepted onto a wide array of courses, including Sports Coaching, Business and Marketing, Physiotherapy and Computer Networks and Security at the likes of Durham University, Leeds Beckett University, Manchester Metropolitan University and Newcastle University.

Jack Jones, who regularly featured for County’s Academy Scholars and B Team during the 2022/23 campaign received three D*, the highest grades achievable, and will study Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University.

Oliver Brockbank and Jamie Wood both achieved three D* grades, with the former studying Sports Rehabilitation at the University of Salford, while the latter will travel north to Durham University to study Sport and Exercise Science.

All 46 students were able to compete in regular fixtures, growing and developing as athletes while gaining the grades necessary to study their first choice subjects. Follow their progress through the Football Education Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok channels.
