The board of Stockport County deplores the behaviour of a small minority of individuals at Kidderminster on Saturday, who have damaged the reputation of our magnificent supporters.
The club are working closely with Greater Manchester Police to identify those involved in the incidents at the game and will co-operate fully with any Police, FA or Football Conference enquiry and will take out banning orders against any person(s) identified with taking part in any criminal behaviour.
The board would also like to make clear that comments attributed to the C.E.O, Ryan McKnight, in various national newspapers on Sunday and Monday of this week, to the effect that blame for these incidents rests entirely with Kidderminster Harriers, were in fact, never made.
The club will now await the outcome of any subsequent enquiry before making further comment
