Record-Breaking Kit Launch

It was a record-breaking day at Stockport County’s Kit Launch on Saturday, as the Club Shop hit a new sales high.

Commercial Manager Phil Brennan said: “I would like to say a big thank you to all the fans who came along to see the new kits being unveiled; I have heard reports of people wearing the new shirts all over the borough during the weekend and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

“I would also like to thank all the staff and the volunteers who ensured the smooth running of the most successful kit launch we have ever staged at Edgeley Park.”

The demand for the new kits was unprecedented, and some fans were unable to buy the size they wanted, so the Club is now offering to take orders for any of the new Umbro kits that were not available on the day and deliver them free of charge.

The kit was modelled on stage by members of the Stockport County Junior Supporters Club, as well as Sky TV’s dance sensation from Stockport ‘Dartversity’ who performed two sets during the Kit Launch.

The Stockport County Community Foundation entertained the younger fans throughout the day, with Pure FM’s Pete Liggins providing the music, whilst the new-look Stockport County Supporters Club attracted dozens of new members.

Our friends from Frankie & Benny’s were also there on the day, and the crowd were treated to a fantastic set from local band The Still.

The three new shirts are sponsored by Leemic (third), MatchDayCards (away) and Stockport Sports Village (home).
