Jamie Hand has officially signed for Stockport County. The 29yr old Former England U-19 international will add to the ever expanding County Midfield.
Fans got the chance to see their new man in action last night against Sheffield Wednesday in the second half.
Jamie started his career as a trainee at Watford where he was loaned out to Oxford United, Livingston and Peterborough United before playing for a number of clubs including Chester City, Lincoln City, Ebbsfleet, Hayes and Yeading and last season he was on loan with Margate while contracted to Conference Premier winners, Mansfield Town.
In an exclusive interview with the club website Jamie spoke of his joy for signing with County saying “It’s a big club, I spoke to the manager and was impressed with his views and I’m pleased to sign for County”
Hand believes that he is “a player that like to get on the ball, pass it around and give 100% effort with a desire to win”.
“I’ve enjoyed my time so far and I think the manager is putting together a great squad.”
