Stockport County defender Danny Swailes was out and about in the local community recently when he officially opened a terrific facility at Chelwood Church in Adswood.

With the help of a group of hard-working people from the Princes Trust, who raised the funds to carry out the work, the recreational area has now been completely refurbished.

Part of the improvement also included two memorial benches to remember two prominent local youth workers.
