Over the past ten years, the Community Foundation staff at Stockport County have voted for their 'Player of the Year'.

The award is not for the players efforts on the pitch, but for their contribution to the community off it. Previous winners of the award have been -

The players at Stockport County play a big role in enhancing the work we do in the Community Foundation and we pride ourselves as a club, that our players are accessible and approachable.

Johnny Mullins received the vote of all the Community staff for his work engaging with The Prince's Trust, Stockport Homes, local primary schools, Soccer Courses and match day activities, and was a worthy winner.

Johnny Mullins received his award prior to kick off at Stockport County v Tranmere Rovers on the last day of the 2009/10 season.
