MOSSLEY 2 COUNTY 2
County included two trialists, Lloyd Rigby and Paul Pizzaci, for the latest pre-season friendly at Seel Park.
Rigby is a goalkeeper currently with Vauxhall Motors and Pizzaci is an Australian striker.
County, kicking down the slope, took the lead after four minutes through Darren Green who beat Paul Higginbotham with a low drive from 25 yards.
County doubled their advantage on 23 minutes when Matty Mainwaring made a good break down the left and pulled the ball back to Pizzaci who hit a shot on the turn past Higginbotham.
The Lilywhites almost pulled one back with Michael Fish's glancing header that flashed just wide of Rigby's right-hand post.
Mainwaring almost added a thrid when he received a pass from Declan Edwards and cut inside onto his left foot and tried to beat Higginbotham at his near post. The 'keeper, though, made a fine save diving to his left to turn the ball around the post for a corner.
Green then saw a shot deflected wide as County finished the half strongly.
Alan Lord made his first change five minutes after the break when Danny Pilkington came off the bench to replace Pizzaci.
Five minutes later James Tunnicliffe came to his side's rescue with a spectacular clearance inside his own six-yard box from a dangerous cross from the left.
Pilkington then threatened the home defence with a 40 yard run but, unfortunately, his final shot didn't match his approach work.
Midway through the half Mossley enjoyed a spell of real pressure but the County defence held firm to keep their goal intact.
Mossley pulled a goal back seven minutes from time when Danny Dignan turned the ball home from close range.
And they completed a fine comeback a minute from time when Havern turned a cross from the left past his own ;keeper
