MAN UNITED 0 COUNTY 0

Posted on: Wed 25 Mar 2009

County picked up their first Manchester Senior Cup points of the season after beating Manchester United in a penalty shoot out.

The game was goalless after 90 minutes with the Hatters keeping their composure from the spot to win 8-7.

Lloyd Rigby, who made two great saves during normal play, emerged as the County hero when he dived to his left to keep out Joe Dudgeon's spot kick.

The Hatters scorers - all eight found the back of the net - were James Vincent, Clive Moyo-Medise), Mark Salmon, Greg Tansey, Declan Edwards, Josh Thompson, Shaun Foster and Paul Ennis
