WE LOOK VULNERABLE

Posted on: Sat 06 Oct 2007

"I came in after the game and I'm disappointed that a number of my players aren't angry. Angry with themselves and angry with their teammates.

"I've tempered my expectations of players over the last four or five weeks and we got very much what we expected from certain players.

"For me the were several people who were major players today and should have perhaps been given man of the match and it surprises me that the player that was selected, and that's no disrespect to Griff, because there's certain players who have been brilliant for the last four or five weeks and were brilliant again today.

"And there are other who have not been contributing effectively and they didn't contribute effectively again today.

"Most worrying for me is the fact that we have now conceded 21 goals. I am not going to blame the defence because I thought Ashley Williams was outstanding today. He was stretched a number of times and individually he defended magnificently against two very lively forwards.

"But as a unit, and as a team, we look vulnerable now and there's a lot of work to be done on the training pitch."
