The referee had to make a call and he made his call a 7.15pm. He couldn't leave it any later and at that point there were a few areas that concerned him.

The rain was coming down heavy and the forecast was for another hour of rain and it could have been farcical.

It's disappointing for everyone and I think are fans are shell-shocked; they don't want to go home because they can't understand it.
