Jason Taylor has delighted Jim Gannon with the impact he's made during training this week.

The all-action midfielder has not kicked a ball this campaign after breaking a bone in his foot during the pre-season friendly at Rochdale.

But whilst tonight's derby against his former club is probably too soon for his comeback he could feature on Tuesday in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at Bury.

Speaking to County TV the Gaffer said: "The last couple of days he's really made a difference in training. His mentality has been excellent. His impact and presence on the pitch has been excellent as well."
