Juniors
The Under-15s were beaten by a strong Fletcher Moss side, who scored two goals in each half and were well worth their 4-0 victory. County's player of the match, keeper Sabrina Burke, was in fine form and made some outstanding saves to keep the score down.

In their opening match in the North Manchester Girls Football League, the Under-13s secured a 4-2 victory despite going into the break 1-0 behind. A battling second-half, with goals from Beth Clark (2), Beth Marsh and Lydia Henshall, ensured County returned with all three points. Kayleigh Seddon, on her debut, was County's player of the match.

The Under-12s made it two wins out of two to go top of the table. Megan Yapp, Grace Byrne, Chloe Flanagan and Nour Ismail all hit the net whilst keeper Tasha Power made a string of superb saves in a 4-0 defeat of Urmston Meds.

With five girls making their debuts, the Under-11s had a tough opening match against last season's unbeaten champions, Manchester City. Despite being 5-0 behind at half-time, the second period saw a much-improved performance in which they only conceded two more goals, thanks largely to an inspired performance by keeper, Rebekah Sadgrove.
