SENIORS All four senior teams' matches fell victim to the cold snap, yet again, as did both Under-16s and Under-15s. The first team's Cheshire FA County Cup tie against Macclesfield Town Ladies will now take place Sunday, February 7 at Woodley Sports FC; kick off 2pm FREE Admission!
JUNIORS
Under-11s DMS continued their improvement despite losing in a close encounter to second-placed Urmston, 3-2. Rachel Phillips with her first of the season and Megan Banks got the goals; Bethan Smith was Player of the Match.
Under-11s defeated Ashton-on-Mersey 3-0 to move into fourth place but only three points behind leaders Manchester City. Player of the Match, Chloe Meaden, opened the scoring followed by strikes from Hannah Bardsley and Natalie Watson.
Under-12s finally returned to action after a seven-week break with a resounding 7-1 win over Oswald Road to keep them nicely placed in third but only a point from the top spot. Chloe Flanagan (with a hat-trick), Megan Watson, Megan Yapp and Minnie Kenworthy were amongst the goals and new signing, Claudia Ross, on her debut, was Player of the Match.
Under-13s unbeaten run finally came to an end with a disappointing defeat to Curzon Ashton, 6-0, but they remain in second place, seven points ahead of Curzon and four points behind leaders, Denton.
