FIRST TEAM

Despite putting up a strong and resilient challenge the first team lost their away match against table-toppers Nottingham Forest 2-1. Caroline Price was the County scorer.

RESERVES

The Reserves had their biggest ever challenge when they travelled to London to face Arsenal Ladies Reserves. They worked really hard throughout the game and at half time had held the champions to a slender 1-0 lead.

The Gunners class showed in the second half , though, with the final score being 4 - 0 - still a very respectable scoreline for theCounty girls.

HNR

HNR beat Macclesfield Ladies 3- 1. They are now in 5th place in the division but with a game in hand over the two teams above them.

BLUES

The Blues remain top of their division even though their game against Barr Hill was postponed last week.

UNDER-16s CHESHIRE

The Under-16s remain top of their league with a game in hand following their 7 - 2 win over Crewe & Nantwich.

The goals came from Sophie Williams, (4), Cheryl Burns, (2), and Jade Wilson.

With only two games remaining the girls are on track to follow in the footsteps of last year's team in winning their league and progressing to the 'Champions League'

UNDER-16s SOUTH MANCHESTER

There was no game for the girls last week but they face Stalybridge in the Friendly Cup this week.

UNDER-14s

The Under-14s also had no game last week but they will play Hillgate Blues at home on Saturday.

UNDER-13s

A hat trick in the first five minutes from Player of the Match Laura Dunn helped the Under-13s on their way to their 11th win in a row and earned them a place in the League Cup Final on Saturday.

The girls beat Oswald Road 16-1 with goals from Laura Dunn, (4), Jodie Moir, (4), Helen Taylor, (2), Kirsty Cooper, (2), Alex Mills, (2) Amy Dempsey and Millie Turner.

UNDER-11s

Despite goals from Beth Clark, (2), and Katie Ward, (2), the Under-11s were beaten 8 - 4 by Denton.

Chloe Ankers was Player of the Match.

UNDER-10s

The Under-10s game was postponed last week but they are due to play Urmston Meds this Saturday.
