County will be holding a Sporting Evening at Edgeley Park on Thursday, 12th April.

The night will including guest speaker Paul Merson and comedian Austin Knight.

Former England international Merson led a long and fascinating footballing career, including more than 400 games for Arsenal and spent two years as manager at Walsall. These days he's a regular pundit on Sky Sports, and is a very popular after-dinner speaker with many fascinating & hilarious anecdotes from his rollercoaster career.

Manchester's No. 1 comedian Austin Knight is a veteran of the entertainment scene, starting as an impressionist before becoming a stand-up, script-writer and and after-dinner entertainer. With his vast experience and great understanding of the audience, Austin makes any event a memorable one.

The event will be compered by the Voice of Stockport County, PureFM's Jon Keighren.

The whole evening will include a three-course meal, an auction and a raffle.

10% of the Sporting Evening profits will go to St Ann's Hospice, County's official Charity Partner.

Prices are £400 for a table of ten, or £40 for individual tickets.
