Don't forget that a very special ceremony will take place before County's game with Barnet on Saturday.

A giant flag, commissioned by the Stockport County Supporters Trust, to pay tribute to the Hatters legendary manager, Danny Bergara, who so tragically passed away in July, will be paraded on the pitch as the teams take to the field before being carried to its new home in the famous Cheadle End.

The County Trust felt the flag would be a fitting memorial to the Man from Uruguay as it would be organised by County fans, designed by County fans and voted for by County fans.

The Trust invited the Edgeley faithful to submit designs and more than 50 were received. A shortlist of five was drawn up and, over a two-week period, hundreds of votes were received, from all over the world, via the Trust website www.stockportcountytrust.com

The winning design was submitted by Darren Barratt, a County fanatic from Edgeley.

Darren's brilliant design has been manufactured into a giant 5m x 2.5m flag which will be unveiled by the Cheadle Enders every home game and, when allowed, at away grounds as well.

Stockport County would like to thank the Trust, everyone who submitted a design and everyone who voted and look forward to seeing the super flag on Saturday.
