The unfortunate injury to Michael Raynes has provided a big opportunity for someone to partner Gaz Owen in the heart of the County defence.

Jim McNulty came off the bench at Adams Park and looks favourite to continue alongside the skipper but James Tunnicliffe, who gave an accomplished performance in our last home game against Brentford, says ready to step up to the mark if needed.

Speaking to County Radio, the 19-year-old said: "I know Jimmy has filled in there this season, and at the moment it looks as though he'll play on Saturday.

"I played against Brentford, and luckily we won, so I hope I'm giving myself the best chance possible to play in these games with a build up to hopefully Wembley."
