County fans told our media partners Pure 107.8FM that it was sometimes difficult to pick up the radio station in their homes across the borough.

So the station is delighted to announce it's relocated the transmitter so the signal can be heard clearer than ever all over Stockport.

On Saturday afternoon fans listening to the exclusive full match commentary texted and emailed to let Pete, Jon and Des know where they were tuning in.

I live in Haughton Green, Denton. Thanks Pure for the improved service - I used to have to put my radio outside and listen but now I have clear signal inside the house great for the away fixtures. Fantastic stuff, dont have to suffer the rain and fear of electricution anymore.
