Our friends at Linfield FC have sent over more snippets of information for tomorrow's Grenn Ferguson Testimonial at Windsor Park, Belfast.
A limited edition badge, pictured, will be on sale on the day. Priced £2, you can find the stall next to the Main Stand.
We can also exclusively re-produce part of an article in tomorrow's souvenir programme about our very own Peter Thompson -
On the day that we salute a legend upon his return to Windsor Park it is only fitting that another Linfield hero should return, one who certainly didn't have his problems to seek when he moved to Stockport county but, thankfully, Pistol Pete is fighting fit again and ready to leave all his injury worries where they belong; firmly in the past.
"I'm fine now and, lucky enough, I was back in full training for a month or so at the end of last season when I managed to get a few games in.
"Not that I was back to full sharpness or anything, but at least I was fit and well again and being back in full training gave my confidence a big boost going into the summer break."
Windsor Park is a familiar sight indeed for Peter, and the back room staff and players should be familiar too, but one thing today will be very different for the talented International hitman.
"I played at Windsor Park every other week for five years, I know the place very well and I had a lot of success there with Linfield so it will be strange when I get to the ground and I have to go to the away dressing room.
"It'll be nice to speak to people I am still very friendly with and see them again, but I'm sure there will be a fair bit of banter during the game too".
Linfield fans will be delighted to see the return of a prodigal son, but there should be no doubt who the day belongs to, and Peter is quick to acknowledge the important role Spike played when he first broke through the ranks.
"It's a great day for Glenn, it's something he really deserves and I'm just glad to be part of it. He helped me enormously with my career and I don't think I would have got to the point where I am now if it hadn't have been for him.
"To play with somebody like Glenn was everything a young striker could ask for because, not only did he help you in games, he helped you in training. I learned so much just from watching him and that can only rub off on you and make you a better player".
The fantastic special souvenir programme is on sale on the day for £3.
