Gary Ablett, his management team and players plus all our hard-working office staff at Edgeley Park have swelled the Leukaemia Research fund by a cool £500.
That's the amount raised from a 'whip-round' to purchase one of the special pre-season shirts, which will now be framed and added to the impressive collection of historic County jerseys at Manor Farm.
And, on the subject of framing, a big thank you to Mike Bond of Sports Framing from Oldham who has kindly offered to frame the shirt free of charge to support our Leukaemia Research fund-raising campaign.
The staff collection took the total figure raised to a fantastic £1,420 which increased to £1,770 when the hammer went down on Johnny Mullins' jersey which fetched a club-record £350. Many thanks to Singapore-based Robert McGregor for his generosity.
The current shirt available in our on-line auction belongs to Michael Raynes and we are hoping to pass the £2,000 mark once the hammer goes down.
As an added bonus the winner can, if required, have the shirt signed and presented by Michael on a matchday here at Edgeley Park.
And don't forget, the shirt also has a historical link as County wore cerise pink shirts for their very first Football League game in 1900 against Leicester Fosse.
Thank you so much for you magnificent support.
