Gary Ablett has been given the green light from Chelsea to allow Liam Bridcutt to play in Saturday's crucial FA Cup-tie against Tooting & Mitcham.

Nicholas Bignall could also figure but the Hatters have not yet received a decision from Leeds United over Paul Huntington's availability.

Speaking to County TV earlier today, Gary said: "The only definite confirmation we've had is from Chelsea, for Liam.

"I've spoken to Reading this morning and they don't see it as a problem with Nicholas playing and we're still up in the air with Leeds about whether Paul will be able to play but hopefully we'll get that problem sorted out sooner rather than later."

The Gaffer also received a boost ahead of the game with the return to training of Greg Tansey who missed Saturday's defeat by Norwich City due to illness.

With no new injuries the County boss hopes to have a full-strength squad to choose from apart from Matty Mainwaring who is recovering from a broken leg.
