Stockport County would like to offer sincere thanks to everyone at Stockport Homes Ltd for supporting our initiative to raise funds for Leukaemia Research.

The organisation donated £300 via a bid for a Charitable Donation from its Plus Fund. This was increased to £435 after the Caretaking Services Team asked all staff to give a little more for a great cause.

The generous people were not to know, though, their donation took the amount we've raised so far to EXACLTY £10,000 - a quite incredible achievement and one we are extremely proud of.

Carl Baker presented the shirt to Stockport Homes representatives, Steve McGuinness, Dave Meredith and Alesha Meredith before last Saturday's game against Exeter City. Our Community Foundation Officer, Mike Smith, who helped organise the donation, was also on hand.

The framed shirt will take pride of place in the Conference Room at Stockport Homes Head Office in St Peters Square.
