County fans who may be worried about the weather for tomorrow's game at Gillingham will be pleased to know much is being done to make sure it goes ahead.

Pitch covers went down well in advance of the 3 inches of snow that fell in Kent last night. As an extra measure, GFC have appealed for volunteers to help clear the snow from the pitch.

Further snow was predicted for tonight, but the latest forecast is for that to become sleet, with the lowest overnight temperature being 0c.

Gillingham are confident at this stage that the game will go ahead.
