Stockport County are appealing for volunteers to help them clear snow off the Edgeley Park pitch to enable hot air blowers and covers to be laid ahead of the Leeds United game on December 28.

It is important the covers go down as soon as possible, but the surface needs to be cleared before that happens.

If you can spare a couple of hours today (Dec 24) then please make your way down to the main reception at the Cheadle End; could we also ask you to bring a shovel.
