Gary Ablett has confirmed that Johnny Mullins will be handed the captain's armband following the departure of previous skipper Michael Raynes to Scunthorpe United.

Mulls may have to wait before he leads the team out, though, as he is racing against the clock to be fit for Saturday's game against play-off chasing MK Dons after injuring his knee against Brighton.

If he doesn't make it Danny Swailes will be given the honour of captaining the side.

Paul Huntington, incidentally, has been given Raynesy's No. 6 shirt.
