Help the Hatters would like to thank everyone who helped make yesterday's Car Boot Sale such a huge success.

The event raised a fantastic £2,070, their highest figure so far.

Spokesman John Fitzpatrick said: "It was a great effort by everyone involved and I'd particularly like to thank all the new volunteers who came along to help us; we couldn't have done it without them."

Richard Landon also had a busy morning at his end-of-season kit sale. All his stock went as the County faithful eagerly snapped up some real bargains helping the popular Kitman to raise in excess of £1,100.
