A young County side, featuring several players with first-team experience, lost out to a single goal by a similarly youthful Woodley side.
Woodley's Mike Clarke scored the only goal of the game in the 32nd minute, when he placed a fine header past Lloyd Rigby in the County goal.

Afterwards, Stockportcounty.com spoke to Alan Lord who was pleased with the overall display from the team.
"We set out to stifle the aerial strength of the home side," said Lordy, "and although we did struggle a little in the first half, we were pleased with the performance across both halves.
"It was very good experience for all of the young players that took part. The game was played in the manner we wanted by both teams, and our younger players stepped up to the mark, especially with their second half performance.
"The youngsters all gave a very good account of themselves. Paul Sunderland and Ben Say in particular should be proud of their performances."
