Last night Stockport County's new owners held their first Sponsors Evening in which over 100 local companies attended, helping make the event a huge success.
The night was supported with three fantastic speeches from Chairman Alwin Thompson, Manager Paul Simpson and Vice Chair Mary Gibbons. All of the Football Management team were in attendance along with Captain Danny Swailes, Barry Conlon, Mark Lynch, Owain fon Williams, Greg Tansey and Jordan Rose.
The Club's main sponsors Stockport Metroplitan Borough Council were well represented with Council Leader Cllr David Goddard heading a table.
Many local companies took up significant sponsorship packages for the season and the club is delighted to announce Easi-Drive as the new back of shirt sponsor. (pictured below are SCFC Chairman Alwin Thompson and Easi-Drive Director Simon Bellamy)
Further to this, Stockport College also announced the continuation of their 'shorts' sponsorship package. Full details on both sponsorships will follow soon.
The support from everyone last night was overwhelming and all the staff at the club would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who attended.
