It's our second home game in a week, as we welcome Kidderminster Harriers to Edgeley Park this weekend.
Back in August, the Hatters and the Harriers played out a
1-1 draw at Aggborough. County's continued first half pressing paid off when Tom Elliott glanced home a header from Ryan McCann's cross. Into the second half, the home side piled the pressure on the Hatters and eventually grabbed a late equaliser, a deflected effort from Scott Phelan beating Matt Glennon in the 88th minute.
County youth product James Vincent is a regular in the Kidderminster side - having played much of the season on the right wing, he's recently switched to a more central role. One of his partners in the middle of the park is Lee Hendrie, son of Paul, who captained County in the '80s.
Kidderminster sit 5th in the Blue Square Premier table. They've been fending off transfer window interest in top scorer Jamille Matt, who has hit 10 league goals so far this season.
Looking toward the game, Jim Gannon said: "Kidderminster are a good side. I've always admired what Steve Burr has done down there on a limited budget.
"They play that 4-2-3-1 formation that I like. They'll be more difficult to break down than Telford, so we'll have to make sure we've got players at the races to have a chance of winning.
"We didn't lose the last two games, and we've gotten back to positions that showed quality of character. But we've made hard work of them and it shouldn't be that hard to win games at home."
TEAM NEWSWith the exception of Sam Sheridan, who joined Southport on loan this week, there aren't likely to be any changes in the County squad from Tuesday's game against Telford. Ben Say is still 5-6 weeks away from a return from his ligament injury.
