Jason was signed from Oldham Athletic by Jim Gannon in the summer of 2006 after a successful loan spell during the 2005-06 season
First spotted in Oldham's reserves, the combative midfielder made his professional debut on the March 18th, 2006 when County beat Macclesfield Town 2-0 at Edgeley Park.
His all-action performances last season helped the Hatters to the brink of the play-offs and he capped a fine individual season by picking up the club's Young Player of the Year trophy at the end of the season.
