Gianluca is a former Tameside Boys player who hails from Gorton.
The powerful defender captained our Under-18s to their Football League Youth Alliance Cup success during the 2006/07 season, and finally made his debut against Brentford on the final day of the 2007/08 season, scoring the only goal of the game, volleying home from the edge of the area.
Normally a centre-half, Luca can also play full-back. He's had loan spells during the 2007/08 season with Radcliffe Borough and Ashton United.
