The Study Centre has been working with a number of Year 7 children from Brinnington over the summer holidays as part of its extended schools provision. The Children & Young People have been given the opportunity to use the centre and its fantastic facilities to create: Comic Strips, Mini movies and Animated films.

Here are a few of the children's thoughts:

Caitlin "It was really worth getting up so early to come to the Study Centre as we had loads of fun! I really enjoyed the whole day especially designing my Comic and uploading the pictures I had taken!"

Jake "Making my animated film and using the chroma-key software was amazing! I loved importing the new backgrounds, it was so realistic."

Kane "I enjoyed doing the Digital Photography work, the cameras were really good and I took some cool pictures."

Jordan S "I loved designing my Comic strip and putting in my pictures! Photo booth was really good fun!"

Jordan "Moving the lego characters and making my animated film was the best part of the day I really enjoyed it!"

Viv "I came to the Study Centre two years ago with Cale Green Primary school, since then it has really changed! I can't wait to come back with Hazel Grove as I think it is brilliant!"

Jody "Going in and around Edgeley Park and taking photographs for my comic was great fun! But the best part was using the green-screens to make an animated film!"
