Pacy winger Danny joined County from National League North rivals AFC Fylde - with the promise of lots of goals in 2016/17. After three successive Play Off campaigns with the Coasters, Danny decided to make the move to Edgeley Park in a bid to fulfil his promotion ambitions, and build on his phenomenal record of scoring 61 goals in three seasons under Dave Challinor and Colin Woodthorpe.
He originally joined Fylde in June 2013 from Tamworth. He was a favourite with the fans at both Tamworth and previous club Lincoln City and made an instant impact for Fylde as one of the top scorers in the team during their promotion from the Evo-Stik League. Danny has also played for Southport and Colwyn Bay, as well as loan spells at Skelmersdale and Chorley. Away from football, he works for a waste disposal firm seeking out new business.
