The club can confirm that defender Alfie Pond has returned to parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers following a mutual agreement to end his loan spell at Edgeley Park.
Alfie joined County towards the end of the Summer transfer window, with the 19-year-old going on to make nine appearances for the club in all competitions.
He started in our league win away at AFC Wimbledon, the first of our club record 12-game winning run in League Two that proved a turning point in the season.
