On Ballboy/girl Duties this Saturday – Offerton Park U10 Pumas

Offerton Park Under 10 Pumas will be on ballboy/girl duties for this Saturday’s game against Alfreton Town at Edgeley Park.

Offerton Park Pumas are an under 10’s development team, who play in the Stockport Metro Junior Football League. The team was formed around 3 years ago and is made up of group of lads who are hardworking, enthusiastic and most of all they enjoy playing football. Over the last 12 months the team has just got better and better and we are eagerly looking forward to the start of the new season in September.

Being allowed to perform this duty as a team also holds a significant meaning, as two of the boys taking part are the grandchildren of the late Trevor Porteous. Hopefully one day players from this team will follow in his footsteps and grace the turf of Edgeley Park and create their own legacy.
