Many happy returns to Ian Ormson, who turns 24 today.
Like Scott Duxbury, who was the most recent Hatter to celebrate his birthday earlier this month, Runcorn-born goalkeeper Ian has made more than 100 appearances for County and is already contracted to stay at Edgeley Park until the end of next season.
Ian is also County’s longest-serving player – making his debut in an FA Cup-tie at Southport in 2011, when aged just 17 – and is highly respected among his fellow professionals, having previously trialled at Tottenham and Manchester United as a youngster. He kept 10 clean sheets in 18 appearances during 2015/16 to underline both his quality and importance to the squad.
Very best wishes to Ian from the Club – and from Hatters everywhere.
