Bloodbikes Manchester Bucket Collection this Saturday at Edgeley Park

Stockport County are delighted to welcome Bloodbikes Manchester to Edgeley Park this weekend for a charity bucket collection.

Blood Bikes is an organisation that provides out of hours cover for the NHS delivering urgent supplies of blood, donor breast milk for infants and a variety of other items including samples and medical equipment to hospitals throughout the Greater Manchester area. The organisation saves the NHS a significant amount of money which can therefore be better used in patient care.

A word from Russ Harrison, of Bloodbikes Manchester:

“It’s great to be here today at this 4th round qualifier for the FA Cup and especially as it is a local derby involving two teams from the area that we support as an organisation.

This is the second occasion that Stockport County has given us with the opportunity of a collection to raise funds and we are grateful to the club and its wonderful fans for their support.

Our charity is staffed by volunteers who give their time and expertise for free and we are always in need of the support and generosity of the general public to keep our vehicles and people out there doing what they do best particularly in the winter months.

Please look out for our volunteers today and when you are out and about on the roads of the County as we often have a precious cargo on board with hungry babies or a very sick person waiting for us to get there and deliver it!

Enjoy the game today and thank you once again.

Animo et Fide!”
