County will travel to League One side Wigan Athletic in the last 32 of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
The tie, our first trip to the DW Stadium since October 2002, is set to be played on either Tuesday 5th December or Wednesday 6th, with full match details to be announced in due course.
Wigan, relegated from the Championship last season, currently sit 18th in League One despite an eight-point deduction, and qualified for the last 32 after finishing top of a group involving Fleetwood Town, Leicester City U21s and Tranmere Rovers. The Latics have won the competition twice previously, in 1985 and 1999.
The tie will be decided on the day, going straight to a penalty shootout if the scores are level after 90 minutes.
