There will be a bucket collection ahead of this Saturday’s National League game against Bromley, in aid of Blood Bikes!

On Saturday we are delighted to welcome Blood Bikes Manchester. They are a charity who work closely with our local hospital Stepping Hill on a daily basis delivering much needed supplies of blood for operations and donor breast milk for hungry babies who need it. They are proud to be associated with the hospital and the funds raised at Saturday’s game will help to keep their service going and their bikes on the road!
As a charity completely staffed by unpaid volunteers the opportunity to raise funds to keep their services running through the busy winter months is much needed and appreciated.
Last year was their busiest year yet seeing them delivering blood products,donor breast milk,samples and medical equipment etc.
The service runs 365 days a year and our daily supply to the Air Ambulance has enabled them to include blood plasma on board the Helimed to ensure that casualties can be treated at the roadside or wherever they may need it quickly and effectively across the area.
Without the kindness and donations on collections like Saturday, none of this would be possible and for that they thank you all in advance of any support you can give them.
