Stockport’s C&C Insurance Brokers have renewed their commitment to Stockport County with a new sponsorship deal.
C&C, whose head office is based in Romiley, are once again focusing on sport to build on their brand reputation by signing a new sponsorship deal that will see their brand promoted at the ground, on club marketing collateral and across their UK as they take advantage of National League games being both streamed and featured on the BT sport channel.
Managing director of C&C, Malcolm Cooke, is a lifelong supporter of the club and cemented his involvement when he became a shareholder, before becoming an advisor to the board in 2015 and subsequently commercial director in 2016.
After a period of instability and a run of poor results, the club was struggling financially; Malcolm had no hesitation in investing to save the Club for the local community and the incredible fans.
Following Mark Stott’s takeover of Stockport County in January 2020 the club returned to financial stability, and Malcolm sold his shares and is now pleased to see the progress of the Club under Mark Stott’s new ownership.
As a fellow Stopfordian dedicated in seeing Stockport return to glory, Mr Stott is a big hit with fans. He has invested in state of the art training facilities, a full time squad and is on track with renovations that will see the start of County’s return to first class football.
Malcolm remains involved with the club as a both a sponsor and a fan:
“I am delighted with the progress on and off the pitch at County, very exciting times lay a head for the Hatters.”
