Forward Billy Chadwick has been recalled from his loan spell at Gateshead in order to complete a permanent transfer to National League side York City.
Billy, a summer signing from Hull City on a free transfer, has spent the first half of this campaign up in the North-East, scoring four times in 19 league appearances for a Gateshead side sat in the National League play-off places.
His final game for the Heed actually came against York City on New Year’s Day, and he now returns to Yorkshire to join the Minstermen on a permanent deal.
