Dave Challinor has been named as the Vanarama National League Manager of the Month for January, after winning all five of our league games to steer us to the top of the table.
He becomes the first County manager to win the award in the fifth tier, following wins against Altrincham, Eastleigh, Dagenham, Maidenhead and Barnet.
It’s been a remarkable start to life back at Edgeley Park for Chally, with 11 wins in 13 league matches lifting us from 10th to top – with a club record run of ten consecutive wins in all competitions achieved against Dover at the weekend.
It was a great month all round for County, with Will Collar also nominated for the January Player of the Month Award – eventually being edged out in the vote by Solihull Moors’ Andrew Dallas.
