Stockport County is proud to be supporting Marie Curie during this weekend’s game against Mansfield Town at Edgeley Park.
There will be a charity bucket collection taking place ahead of kick-off, with volunteers located around the ground looking to raise vital funds for the charity. If you are able, we ask that supporters please give generously for a great cause.
See below for a message from the charity:
Marie Curie is the UK’s leading end of life charity. We provide frontline nursing and hospice care, a free support line and a wealth of information and support on all aspects of death, dying and bereavement
The Great Daffodil Appeal (GDA) is our biggest fundraising campaign. Each March, people across the UK donate to Marie Curie and wear their daffodils with pride. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness of what we do, be more visible to the public, and raise funds to support our vital work.
We can’t wait to come back to Edgeley Park this weekend, and we’d like to thank everyone who is able to support us.
