As you’ll most likely be aware, the Club recently submitted a planning application for the expansion and improvement of Edgeley Park, and Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council is welcoming feedback from constituents on the application.
This forms an important part of the planning application process, with all feedback received due to be reviewed and considered by the planning authority before making their decision.
A hybrid planning application was officially submitted in June 2024, outlining plans for a phased expansion that would bring the capacity of Edgeley Park up to 18,305. If successful, work on the Danny Bergara Stand would be scheduled to begin in early 2025. More details on our vision for Edgeley Park can be found here.
