The Stockport County Community Foundation are seeking to recruit additional sports coaches to join their team.
They are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious sports coach to assist with the delivery of our Schools Coaching Programme in the Stockport and the surrounding area. Applicants would be joining an award winning team, delivering community initiatives on behalf of Stockport County FC.

Job Type: Part Time
Essential:
- FA Level 2 in Football or equivalent NGB Level 2 qualification in any other sport.
- Valid First Aid, Safeguarding Certificate.
- Full driving license and the use of a vehicle.
- Previously worked within a Primary School environment delivering sports coaching.
We welcome applications with coaching qualifications in multiple sports. All candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
To be considered for this role, you must be able, in your letter of application, to demonstrate that you can meet the essential criteria of the role and this will include:
- Planning and delivering high quality physical education in line with the National Curriculum in Primary Schools.
- Activity planning, project management and session management.
- Examples of self-motivation and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills including written and interpersonal skills.
