County Courtyard: County v Preston North End

The County Courtyard makes its long-awaited return this weekend, ahead of Saturday’s final pre-season friendly against Preston North End – as we celebrate our 140th anniversary with a family fun day at Edgeley Park.

Officially launched on Boxing Day 2022, the Courtyard was the place to be last season for all of your pre-match food, drink and County entertainment – and this year will be no different!

Club President Steve Bellis will be joined on stage by some legendary former players, who are joining us as special guests for our day of celebration, whilst live entertainment will also be provided by musician Adam Williams from 1.45pm.

The Courtyard is set to open at 1pm on the day, and will be available again at half-time for supporters located in the Cheadle End. We will also be open for up to an hour after the game, for anyone wanting to stay and enjoy a post-match drink.

We will also have a coffee van available in the Courtyard for this game, and ahead of our season opener against Gillingham next weekend. The van will be located to the left of the street food bar, selling barista-style hot drinks and milkshakes throughout the afternoon.

Please note that the Courtyard is not open for Friday’s pre-season fixture against Blackburn Rovers.

See below for the delicious food on offer in the Courtyard this weekend:

  • Bratwurst topped with pulled pork and crispy onions/veggie hot dog
  • Loaded Nachos

Be sure to keep an eye on the Club Site ahead of every home game, for all the latest offerings at the County Courtyard!
