Defensive pair Fraser Horsfall and Ryan Rydel have both received nominations for the prestigious upcoming Northwest Football Awards.
Fraser has been nominated for the League Two Player of the Year award after an outstanding debut season at Edgeley Park, helping us reach the League Two Play-Off final at Wembley with many dominant displays at the back. Ben Whitfield, Richard O’Donnell, Elliot Watt and Josh Hawkes are the other players nominated for the awards.
Meanwhile, County’s reigning Young Player of the Year, Ryan Rydel has been nominated for The Athletic Rising Star of the Season. The 22-year-old enjoyed a stunning first full season in the EFL, scoring three times and registering 11 assists in 32 appearances at left-wing-back – he is one of 16 players nominated for the award from across the top five divisions.
You can help both players win their respective awards by voting online now. Voting is open until Friday 29th September, with the winners set to be revealed at the awards dinner on Monday 6th November.
