County duo receive international call-ups

Myles Hippolyte has been called up by the Grenada national team, for their upcoming CONCACAF Nations League game against the USA.

Myles is of Grenadian descent on his mother’s side and so eligible to play for the Caribbean nation – this is his first ever international call-up, and will see him go up against a USA side who reached the last 16 of the World Cup in Qatar last December.

The game takes place on Saturday 25th March, meaning he will miss our League Two fixture away at Swindon Town as a result.

If he makes an appearance, he will become just the 13th County player to represent his country at senior level whilst still at the club, joining our International Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Vit Jaros has also again been called up by the Czech Republic U21 side for their upcoming friendlies against Belgium U21s and the Netherlands U21s, meaning he too will miss our trip to Swindon. Vit has two caps for the U21s to his name already.

Congratulate to both players on their call-ups, and we wish them the best of luck on the international stage!
