From the Stevenage fixture onwards, all 12 ladies toilets within the ground, including Corporate areas, will now be stocked with sanitary items for female supporters to use, free of charge.
Sokker Girls and Physio Track will kindly be donating towards the new scheme, they would like to credit the initiative to GR Physio Workshop, who focus on medical knowledge for female footballers within grassroots environments.
Abby from Sokker Girls comments on the new partnership: ‘We’re delighted to be able to partner with Stockport County! We’re firm believers that your menstrual cycle should never stop you from playing football or being able to get on with your normal day to day life and so we’re delighted to be able to provide sanitary products in all women’s toilets at Stockport County, free for anyone to use!’
