Czubik stays with Mossley

Stockport County striker Szymon Czubik will remain at Mossley until the end of the season.

County have extended his youth loan until the end of the current campaign.

Szym originally joined Mossley in November and has been a real hit with the Lilywhites, making eight appearances for the Seel Park outfit.

The pacy, powerful centre forward scored 22 goals in just 12 Academy fixtures for the Hatters last season, scoring in every game including three hat-tricks and in one game hitting five. He signed an 18-month professional deal with the Hatters in January 2018.
He scored more than 30 goals last season across every level, including two for County in the Cheshire Senior Cup as well as scoring on his debut during a loan spell with Radcliffe last season.

This time around the Polish-born striker has scored six goals in 13 appearances during a loan spell at Stockport Town.

The teenage front man joined Alan Lord’s Academy after impressing during a friendly against Goole Town and following a recommendation from Goole’s youth boss Marc Brown.

The loan deal to Mossley, who play in the Northern Premier League Division One, includes a 24-hour recall clause.

Szym will be available for tomorrow’s fixture when the Lilywhites visit his former club Radcliffe.
